STEM Potential Enrichment Camp
What is SPEC?
TeamUP Science has established an exciting summer program, STEM Potential Enrichment Camp (SPEC), a science and engineering camp for students entering grades 10 to 12 in Edmonton and area. SPEC will provide opportunities to explore science, engineering, and technology through innovative hands-on learning and experimentation at the University of Alberta North Campus. Participants will go on field trips, perform experiments that enrich in-class concepts, and gain familiarity with the university environment. The program will run for 6 weeks, and students can register for any of our two week theme camps.
Biomedical Week (Jul 4 – 13)
Discover the limitless possibilities in biology and medicine! Experience the many fields in biological sciences, including genetics, botany, zoology and more! This camp will also feature different healthcare disciplines, including pharmacy, nursing, and medicine.
Chem & Physical Sciences Week (Jul 18 – 28)
Interested in chemistry, earth science, physics, or astronomy? Learn more about these fields and how they all work together in real life applications.
Engineering & Technology Week (Aug 1 – 11)
Enhance your knowledge regarding multiple areas of engineering including chemical, materials, mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering! Have the opportunity to expand your skills in relevant hands-on experiments, programs, and equipment.
