    What is SPEC?

SPEC (STEM Potential Enrichment Camp) is a 6 week long science and engineering based summer camp program for students going into grades 10-12 from target backgrounds such as First Nations and inner city. We want these high school students to experience what university is like through activities such as classroom projects, lab-based experiments, tours, guest speakers, and more from a variety of STEM related concepts. Our goal is to excite and inspire these students to pursue an academic career, while introducing them to the innovative and expanding fields of STEM. The camp will be based off the University of Alberta campus, with some field trips off campus.

    What will you do?
